Unfinished Sea Symphony In My Head

I have the first movement of the unfinished Sea Symphony in my head, while visiting V&A East. There are more parallels than I was expecting. We see the same sea as our ancestors. The sea connects us. The V&A East has a collection of contemporary culture, at once modern and rooted in another time, another place. I was struck by a 1,000 year old Chinese tunic, almost as old as the melody Sciathlúireach Mhuire which opens the Sea Symphony.
