The 23 winds at the Wind Serenades Summer School sound beautiful in this World Première performance of Sunrise Over Skiddaw.
The players spent the week at Higham Hall, with Skiddaw ever present on the horizon.
Sunrise Over Skiddaw captures the changing colours of the sunrise behind the powerful mountain. The light is always changing, the sounds grow to a climactic chorus of the big melody, from a quiet, ethereal opening.
