Today’s Singing Supper in Brussels was a good prompt to typeset my arrangement of Autumn Leaves / Les Feuilles Mortes. I did the arrangement years ago, neatly written out in manuscript. But I didn’t have the French words and it’s not so easy to read ink on manuscript, especially in the evening after a good meal and a couple of glasses of wine. Being in Brussels, the French came naturally and we enjoyed the gorgeous harmonies spun by Joseph Kosma. When I put the arrangement up on Sheet Music Direct, I learnt that Josef Kosma‘s widow donated the royalties to the town of Nice and in return they built the Auditorium Joseph Kosma in the Conservatoire.
